New x5 or x6

Please can you help. I am looking to change my x6 35d.
I am looking to get the same again or a X5 35d M Sport.
Both the same price but different cars.
1 Which one will hold its value over 3 years?
2 When are they going to get face lifts, don’t want an old modal in 6 months etc.
Thanks

I know the X5 is due for a FL by the end of the year if I am not mistaken.
It terms of value retention, I reckon the X6 might edge out the X5 but that is just my guess.

Go with X6. It just came out a year ago and not getting a facelift anytime soon. X5 on the other hand has been around for many years and due for FL soon.

Depends on the use you are going to give the car, the X6 is not a family car, mostly if you are more than 4 people. X5 is going to be history soon due to a new face lift coming so those are your choices, X6 or wait some time until new X5 arrives

They are both trucks, gas prices are high, this means resale values won't matter.

The choice between the X5/6 is simple. Do you need seating for more than 4 people or additional room?

The X5 has more room but does not handle as well as an X6 for obvious reasons.
