X6M brake squeal UPDATED PADS available

Today while my car is at the dealer for service, I mentioned the brake squeal that occurs during reverse. As most everyone is aware, this is a common complaint. I figured they would just tell me what they had before, that this was a known issue with the high performance brakes. But I was surprised when the SA found that there was an updated pad available for this problem. They had to order the pads, so I will need to come back to have them replaced.

Hopefully this information will help if you have this problem. When I get the pad information, I will post it here.

Mine were replaced under warranty, no questions asked ( just the front's)

There is a kit for the front pad replacements for the ///M. It is a special order, so I will need to go back when they get them. The part number is 34-11-6-799-964.
