Modded 2010 BMW X5M
I am NOT interested in selling anything off of the truck separately. Ladies and Gents, I am throwing a feeler out there for my 2010 X5M. (two sets of wheels) 2010 BMW X5M Space Gray Black Full Leather package 51k Miles (still driving) Modded tastefully All service work done by the dealer documented on a clean carfax. The factory stats... Loaded from the factory with every option minus a tow hitch and rear entertainment package. Fitted with Aluminum interior, its got active seats, cold weather package, Extended leather package, driver assist package, soft close doors, premium sound, etc. I have a copy of the build sheet and original window sticker. Clean carfax with all dealer done maintenance listed. Recently had the injector recall done, she's up to date on service work and just recently had both driver and passenger sway bar links replaced along with the thrust arm bushings. This truck is SOLID. MODS -Lux headlight kit -Gloss Black Grills -Lowered with H&R 1.2 -BBS SV Wheels -Carbon Fiber Front Lip -Velos Stage 2+ Flash with handheld (still have ability to get another revision for DP's) Valentine V1 Hardwire Spacers and studs All in all about $8-9k to replicate. Also comes with STOCK WHEELS ON SNOW TIRES with TPMS I bought this truck from EAG in Ohio. It was formally owned by the owner of Tire Discount and his wife drove it. She sold it in at 39k miles to EAG when she bought a 2016 X5M. If you know anything about EAG they sell nothing but the absolute best and charge a nice premium. This truck is CLEAN. I am selling purely because of the amount I am driving. I bought this in Nov at 39k miles and have already put 11k miles on it in 6 months (its a blast to drive). I'm trying to avoid anymore depreciation. I know these things fall as the mileage gets up there. That being said my price is extremely firm, I won't even respond to other offers. If I were to take less I would just keep driving and enjoying it. Link to my Build thread with more pictures. I have over 100 pictures for a serious buyer. She's located in Maryland outside of Annapolis. My number is 443.926.6550 http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1230045

Retail vs. what people are paying are two totally different things. The only trucks you're getting for retailed are ragged out.
I spent over a year finding a clean, well cared for truck. I'm perfectly fine holding on to it also.

I've had two x5m's and didn't pay over retail for either and both i bought cpo'd from BMW. Neither were "ragged out". I think the only way someone would pay 10k over retail is if they were looking for a special color combo. All I'm saying is if you wanna get out of it, i'd lower the price and these trucks, especially a 10 is gonna get crushed on depreciation the more miles you put on it. Again GLWS it is nice a truck. |

You clearly don't give two shits about respecting threads and instead decide it's your place to drop your .02 into it and finish it off with a "GLWS" like that changes the context of your post.
There isn't one single x5m on auto trader right now under 60k miles for your retail price. The cheapest one in the US is $37k and doesnt appear to have many option and resides in Jersey which is probably the last state I would buy a car from. Outside of that everyone is up against $40k or above it. A fully loaded M in this color combo with this kind of documentation and mileage would be realistically competitively listed for $40k. If it were stock that's probably where I would go. I could probably get $3500 for the wheels in a week. So lets say I should them and dropped the price to $41,500. Most everyone on here is going to flash their truck... I have arguably the best one you can get. You're going to pay that $1500 for it... If not more. Consider the Carbon lip, grills, lights, etc. to be a bonus. I'm in no way strapped for the cash... I just see the opportunity to get in to something like an SRT Jeep or the likes that will not depreciate as badly with the miles and won't nickel and dime me on repairs. The reality is at this rate I will be at 100k miles by 2018. I love the truck and it's well sorted out. Ill keep driving it with no problem and smiling every mile.

Dude! What are you doing?
That's one of the sweetest X5Ms in here! Don't worry about depreciation or what someone else says it is worth, drive the crap out of it and enjoy it as it was meant to be! |

SRTs depreciate and requires plenty of maintenance. Plus tires and brakes are expensive and don't last long. Interior is also trash compared to this car. Choose wisely... Ive had 2 SRT8 Jeeps. That being said. If my E63 sells. I'm interested. Space grey is my color.

Weather was great here today for the first time in a while. Got her detailed, had the pano open, music up load, M/sport mode... Man what a great experience in an SUV. Drove home from work like I was 17 again.

I owned a 2007 SRT 8 Grand Cherokee a few years ago and actually looked at buying a 2014 SRT 8 with 15k on it last year and could of bought it for $50,500 which was a good deal but I passed due to the fact that the seats are nowhere near as comfortable as the M for starters and as P1et said they wear out quickly as well. They also don't have the handling or ride quality either. As far as value goes the SRT has been really good in retaining there value but after driving the X5 M I couldn't pass it up. The thing to keep in mind as Dr. Duct_Mossburg said listed values aren't always a good way to measure TRUE value or what you can actually sell a car for. I sell cars for a living and can tell you that cars like the M that are rare can and will sell for more money at times than expected. There were only 1,063 of these made in 2010 and when you start breaking down color combo numbers there are only 69 in Space Grey with full leather combo sold in North America and only 24 in Canada which will obviously have more value than some others so that has to be taken into consideration as well. My advice would be to just keep it if you like it and get an a Platinum extended warranty like I did that will cover pretty much everything up to 100k . Just my 2 cents though and good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Gixxer... I am enjoying it. Got some territory changes along with my wife getting a new vehicle soon so she's good in my garage for now. I get tons of compliments all the time.
