X5d Headlight Function
First Post and a Newbie. X5d is two weeks old with 2k miles on the odo already.
I know these cars have bi-xenon headlights, but I wonder why the bulbs in the inner halo's do not pop on when you flash your headlights. From what I 've tried they provide no function at all except for low output welcoming lights when you unlock the vehicle. I find this unsafe since during the day there is not really a visual difference in lights with flashing them at someone to move out of the way. Especially if you have your lights turned on during the day. Is there a way to code this to activate flash to pass? What do the Euro Spec headlights do when you pull the high beam stalk back? Any info would be a great help. Thanks you guys and look forward to sharing in this forum. |

Headlight Question Again
I just picked up my 2011 X535d. It just arrived from Spartanburg so I'm guessing it's considered an April 2011 production vehicle. I have the same question as posted, why don't the inner portion of the headlights light up? Brights only seems to make the outers brighter. I have the Corona LED Angel Eyes.

they are cornering lights, not high beams.
