Why so much hate on the X6/X6M?
Just curious, what do people say that aren't a fan of the car? Always felt like it was a cool coupe looking SUV to a certain extent.

every brand has it's purist that don't want change unless they approve. A lady at work and her husband collect Porsche's (they have 6) , when I asked her what she thought of the new panamera she said it has four doors so it's not a real Porsche.
Every brand has folks that just don't like the image they have of the brand ( and of themselves) changing. There were a lot of BMW folks that were up in arms when the X5 came out , "BMW shouldn't be making a SUV". X5 has become one of BMW's best selling models. I always buy what I like and don't give a rats a** what others think, I don't buy cars so others will like them.  |

as more cpo'd x6's show up on lots..they'll be more "love" for the x6...lol
honestly..I've liked the X6 since it's launch..and it's a top contender for my next lease (december of this year)

Well,
1). It has a polarizing visual appearance 2). Many of the "un-educated" think it's sport ute with 4 seats, limited cargo vs an Explorer and therefore under-delivers in utility 3). Price value vs X5 4). Weight Why did I buy it? I love the appearance, it's fun to drive for such a big machine, XDrive in Winter, enough utility for what I need to do -- and the sound of that TT V8!!

I dont know who says that the X6 is ugly because I get looks and thumbs up from at least 3 people (strangers) a week no lie! I have had people walk up to me and say WOW I love your car!!! or WOW! "This is that new BMW" I like it!
and then the "Nice Carrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr buddy" so I don't know who's says what but Its a action grabber here in Miami and Ft Lauderdale!
