I don't have my car yet, but I am going to go that route for this upcoming winter.

I think I may as well...dealer says these summer tires will not do well in the slieet that we get sometimes in Texas.

Yea, the 20" summer tires are definitely not suited for temps below 40 degrees F, let alone snow or ice.

I went with separate wheels/winter rubber...No way I can use the 20's in a USA Snowbelt winter...

I have Pirelli Snow/Ice (I think Scorpion) on non oem rims...Bought the package one year new from another guy in the states...For well below the cost of new OEM rims alone I'll add..

There are deals to be had out there, but you gotta search hard for the X6..There just aren't many of them out there.

I'll also add that the X6 was an absolute BEAST in the winter with appropriate shoes..

Does x6 has enough ground clearance to drive on snow? Compare to x5, which car has better performance on snow?

I think they have the same ground clearance....just different body style.
