thanks. we liked the rx400h, was a great car with comfortable seats very easy to drive. we got the car as my mother wanted to feel like she was doing something good for the world, but she usually ended up being a passenger as she wasnt able to drive it, so since the lease is up we changed her back to bmw.

update on the car: in paintshop. etc is now july 3rd. which really means it will finish july 2nd or july 6th as spartansburg does 2 10 hr shifts m-th and 1 10 hr shift friday. monday they would close for the holiday.

Mine might be right near yours on the line.

I just called the 800# and it says it has a completion date of today. Too bad my PCD date is july 21. I can't wait!

the weird thing is, this whole process never gets old. This is our 9th one and we have been just as excited for this car as we were for the 750Lxi in October. I can gurantee the 3-4 weeks will be worth the wait!

Congrats flipside! PCD will be amazing. I've never done a delivery but did the performance school twice. Well worth it!

Please post some pics when you get it .

I think Hubby secretly wants either the F10 or an RX; I think it's because it's (the RX) one manufacturer neither of us have ever had, and we like to try everyone at least ONCE to feel justified in our decisions (same for restaurants, designers, etc.) We're not afraid of change.

I plan on signing up for the performance school as a birthday gift to myself.

Out of curiousity, what made you chose the 35 over the 50?

Definitely will post pics. Want to get some pics of the 7 and X6 together as well.

Both the F10 and RX are great cars but completely different in their own way. Different driving experiences, technology, and different kinds of service.

We were divided between the 35/50. What it came down to is the fact that the car isnt driven as much. We love the V8 from the 7, but for the amount the car is driven we didn't need the extra power with worse gas mileage. We would have gone for the hybrid, but felt it is ridiculously over priced. The car would have had a higher payment the 7 series for a lower priced car.

That is exactly what my husband said. I want the X6M, but he always had that poignant point, and after many months of dueling, I'm compromising and looking into the 35 now. Who knows-the F10 just may end up being the deal breaker in my household as something for everyone.

we were between the f10 and the x6. price wise they just made the x6 so attractive between the 1k ultimate drive credit (not applicable toward the f10), 1k bmwcca rebate, and since we needed xdrive on the f10 we would have had to wait till october. we would have had to extend our lease and possibly put new tires on the car. we liked both, and liked the f10 better but when it came down to it we liked the x6 a lot too and we didnt have to wait. the only thing we wanted on the x6 that we couldnt get was side view cameras.

i don't think you can go wrong between the f10 and x6.

well the car finally arrived after a long saga...except i cant take delivery. because the factory rushed the car on to a truck for us they did not have a chance to generate the nav codes so we won't be able to get the car until monday at the earliest. here are some pics in the mean time

Here are some pics. Unfortunately, during its radar/laser installation a drill was dropped on the bumper so we have our first nick already

anyways here are some pictures.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately we already had our first nick in it. When we got the radar/laser installed a drill fell and hit the front bumper. not anything bad, but still unfortunate. Also dealer put regular gas in accidently instead of premium so the car was hesitating for 5 seconds when pressing accelerator. Almost got in a few accidents. the dealer drained the car and reset the fuel adapters.

only gripes are:
only 2 keys can have comfort access. we have more than 2 keys and they cant have CA enabled.

Nav doesnt change to night mode automatically like 750.

so i really cant complain.... its amazing

i ordered 2 more master keys, so I have a total of 4 master keys (with 4 valet keys). unfortunately only 2 of those can have CA enabled on them at a time, so my other two keys require you to press the buttons to lock/unlock or insert into the slot to start the car. its very disappointing after spending the money to get CA.
