Hubby went on a business trip. He'll be gone for two to three weeks and this time around him leaving was on a really bad time.

I'm pretty solid now at running everything on my own but now it seems every evening there is a birthday party someone needs to go, a few of my "cases" keep screwing up and everything else has to be handled. Cool, temporary and also this is my life and I love it usually.

Anyway, my son hurt his leg in the dog park. He is a complete drama queen and he was sure he was going to die. From a really tiny scratch. I had the choice of taking him to petco with me, or to try the five different puppy foods that we had in the house already. Kissa is 5 months old, and it seems everything upsets her tummy. Knowing this, I still made the choice of giving her the wrong food so it is completely on me.

For two nights, she had nonstop diarrhea. I swear, she multiplied the food in her belly and I've ran around cleaning. Leaving her outside truly is not an option, so this has truly been a relaxing weekend.

I do this every five or so years. Even when I know better, I try to cut a corner to save either time or money and it always is a disaster. I'm tired enough now to laugh at this but we now have five bags of the right food in the house just in case.

Oh my laawdy. You know, if there's one thing I've learned during my short period of life on this earth is to NEVER skip corners. For some strange reason, it seems like short cuts are no longer improved routes, but rather shortened routes to disaster. Why? No idea, but it's a plague. Although, I guess I'm not really one to talk, because I may think I have everything planned out, like shopping at a store, but it's almost impossible for me to go without forgetting at least one or two items.


What kind of puppy? Do you have pictures? I love puppies, just not enough to own one right now.

Don't I know it again! My dad and I have perfected this skill of taking a random easy situation and turning it into a full-blown shitsorm. I always feel it in my bones, every part of me knows this is not the way to go and... Always the same result.

You're way more organized than I am. I go into a store, come out, go back in and on a good day, I end up with half of the stuff I need.

You're like..., my dream girl. We can go to stores and forget things together and embrace it. I'd love to visit the same store 5 times with you in one day. My co....woman right now gets very irritated when I forget things, and I say..., this is who Billup is. Deal with it or there's the door. I'd rather NOT have to say that, but like Sara, I put up with it for some amazing ass. It all works out for now.

Lol I've turned this into an art form. At this moment I have a fridge full of yogurts, since that I remember to buy. Sadly nobody in my family eats it. Good job Anna! We also have three different types of meats but no cream to make a sauce with. Salad ingredients can be found if one wants to eat merely a boring salad. All in all, milk is the only thing we have plenty and right sort.

She is great. After my last dog was put down in august i needed a new protector. She'll be a good one, if nothing else works, feed the dog and drown the people in shit. She has a face that looks like a shoe and her special skill is to run and jump on me when ever a new pile of poop has been found. She actually looks at me every time like she has no idea how it landed next to my car which seems to be her idea of an emergency toilet.

Yes, you would think it was that easy. I just mange to make a mess of it every time and I've come to accept this as a funny characteristic and not as it could be seen.

It's not free education if you pay over 50% of your income in taxes. Sure you spend your own money, the hubby has nothing to do with it.

Lol, I sleep really little.

I play with stocks when the time is right, so now that's on hold for me. My weird head uses writing as a way to memorize things, and not because I make notes. This nonsense actually is full day planned.

Yes, I consider it free because everyone, no matter what their family's social status is, anyone can push ahead if they have the brains for it. Sure the tax rates are insane but I consider it a small burden compared to seeing people with no hope for their future.

Raising kids is not that much work as people think. You set rules, and watch them grow. All I have to do is share my knowledge of different things and that can easily be done while reading the ot.

Can you try and post pics of the Shepherd? Love those dogs, had two growing up and very fond memories. I have a Lab now...gotta say he's the best Lab I've ever seen and so I put him on par now with my Shepherds, but I still have a soft spot for them.

Plus, then this thread will not only have soap opera drama, but it will be cute too!

That's an awesome looking dog! And they are so smart too. I remember we once used a closet (with one of those folding / accordian type doors) as a makeshift cage for ours for a little while when we had to go out. We put a wall up before the door so the dog couldn't just walk into the door and open it and it worked well for a little while. But then we came home to the dog happily out and about in the house one day. Then we learned that she figured out how to open the door, even with the wooden wall in the way (and she then jumped over the 3ft wall). Smart dog.

Haha, naturally it was all thanks to you! Meh, I just don't take pictures if a kiddo is not doing something that will ruin their chances of getting laid later,or a car looking bad. I have huge issues with cameras and I'm getting worse every year.

Yes, dogs have wonderful ways to get what they want. I put her to the back yard last night to get an hour of sleep. I leg a window open so I could hear if she started howling. I woke up pretty soon when she ran to the couch where I was. She had found her way through the window that I thought was high enough but didn't consider the flower pot next to it as a step. She also reported a mystery dog had gone and had an accident next to my car, again.

Oh well, who needs sleep.

No, she hasn't destroyed anything. She mainly sleeps in the house (when given the right dog food). She does two 5km walks per day in the dog park so that helps.

The only one who destroys things in our home is my son. He breaks beds by jumping on them.
