Flew United 1st class to NYC from Chicago today. They swapped planes and gates (and concourses) at the very last minute before we started to board. We were supposed to get lunch on the plane, so we didn't eat at the airport. But the late plane swap meant the caterers didn't catch up and the plane left with no food. They didn't even have nuts. I questioned the stewardess, who hadn't bothered to say anything about it, and since I was the 3rd passenger to mention it, she offered us box snacks from coach. We hadn't eaten since 6:30AM and it was nearly 4PM, so we took the box snacks. Between that and the screaming infant across the aisle from us, it was hardly a 1st class experience.
Maybe I was wrong about American being the worst airline. On the other hand, we're in NYC and the weather is decent. Time to make up for no lunch with a great dinner.

I pretty much always fly United. I've had American a few times due to lowest available fare rules at work but always had really crappy experiences w/ aircrews on American.

I finally got all my stuff moved into my new house on Saturday. Naturally there was a ton of shit I needed to buy for said house, so I made a list and went to town. Washer, dryer, lawn mower, weed whacker, etc.
Two of my credit cards were declined on 3 different occasions over the weekend. I never really use them, so I can only guess they saw a ton of charges. I'm glad they turned it off, but I really felt like a dildo standing at the register with them saying it's declined. |

i've flown a lot of airlines when i use to travel for business. they all pretty much suck accept for the younger airlines tyring to make a name for themselves or having fun. the problem is they don't always have direct flights and i don't have enough miles invested in them for me to switch. good to hear.

My brothe hunted boar Friday night, shot 2 with a single shot. He brought about 3lbs of backstrap to the cabin and we pan fried it in bacon grease Sunday night.
But he only brought about 3 lbs, and the rest is somewhere between guide and meat processor, and I freaking want more bacon-greased backstrap!!!!!! |

At least you are keeping the Malaysian children busy... they need their 75¢/week so they can eat.

So, my buddy and I decided to start a web show and ordered a Canon T6i, a modest-budgeted DSLR (unless someone has a 1D-C they don't want anymore and feel like giving away or I can get my shady ex-landlord to return the 60D he stole from me 3 years ago), but found out the T6s performs slightly better AFTER I ordered it, so I have to wait until FedEx finally turns the package around, wait for them to receive it, then order the T6s.

Yeah, I've been busy with a bunch of side projects, plus I'm getting back on the weight loss bandwagon, so I've been getting up at 5AM to work out and heading back after midnight quite frequently. Haven't visited Bimmerpost in a while because of that.
