Actually you'd be surprised they hold up very well. On Road Atlanta I was in one for an entire day in blistering heat and the pads and tires were fine. Total of 40 laps if I recall. I road with the M test driver Limmer for a half dozen laps or so and there was no fade or issue with him then me taking over. By the end of 10 laps the pedal was mush bc of stock fluid but the pads were still there (had to drive it back to Atlanta).

The tires being RFTs dissipate the weight and heat well and if I recall the compound wasn't all that soft so they wore even and still had plenty of life. The one thing I do not recall is the Magnetic suspension..... I am thinking Matt is wrong on that. If I get a chance I will look.

EDIT: Matt is wrong, no magnetics,The swaybars are hydraulic and the shocks use hi-speed valves.

I love the X5M.... which is the X6M with some added function!

Not to mention very fat, car and tester alike

My neighbor across the street has a grey X6 (35i I think) and I like the looks quite a bit. A couple doors down another neighbor has a 550i GT Sport, and I think that looks good too, so don't trust my taste

Come on now, you live in Columbia, MD---chances are you've seen a ton of Cayenne Turbo's, ML55 AMGs (the one hat started the lux SUV hotrod trend), ML63s...same thing

I like this guy.

He comes into the X6 subforum and says how strange and ugly this thing of a beast is....

And the X6 replies, "thank you very much. Now watch just how ugly I can get."

DEAR MATT FARAH,

If the car is not for your taste it doesn't mean is ugly.
I find X6 very beautiful.

Please next time, if you really want to look professional, talk about the car from technical point of view and leave the beauty factor to be decided by the buyer.

Thank you!

Pure awesomeness.

Only thing I wish? X6 M's were made in Germany so they'd be eligible for ED.
