Interesting findings on bmwusa.com
Was messin with the configurator last night and noticed the following with regards to the 2013 X6:
1. The Premium sound package, assuming it is the same as the 2012, is now $550 less expensive. A new "Enhanced Premium Sound" is now available as well (didn't notice this on the build sheet, but it is there). 2. There is no mention of the extra HP with the M Perf Package. I'm wondering if they are awaiting final numbers and don't want to publish? They don't even mention that it includes extra HP. 3. Like before, upgrading to the BMW Individual Composition, makes getting ventilated seats (now called Luxury Seating Package) impossible. Strange. 4. The Luxury Seating Package is no longer a Priority 1 option 5. The Sport Activity package on the 50i now gets you style 214 wheels (just like the 35i) when you upgrade to the 20s (I personally like those better than the 336, but that's me) 6. The M sport package gets you the 336 style wheels on both the 35 and 50 7. As noted before, Adaptive Drive is now part of the Dynamic Handling Package and is now a Priority 1 option (so you won't find it on a dealers lot to test drive). I suspect BMW doesn't want to be making this available any more. It is also not part of the M Sports package, making the combination of options over $8K (too bad, because it really is a great option, but I bet most people don't want to spend that kind of cash). Damn you Pex5 8. You can get the 50 well into the 90s. Impressive 9. The X6M build your own is currently down. That tells me you might be able to build your own 2013 X6M shortly (the 2012 was still up last night).

bmwusa.com -> X6 -> Features & Specs -> Specifications ->
35i -> 315 hp with M Performance Package 50i -> 430 hp with M Performance Package but it doesn't say about torque. Last edited by udmx6; 04-07-2012 at 04:47 PM.. |

Interesting - mostly because I thought the 50i was supposed to get 440? Maybe they are still trying to figure out what they can/should rate it at? I swear that footnote was not there last night (although there could have been alcohol involved since my child was having a sleep over with 5 other troublemakers).

Disappointed M Performance Package on LCI X6
LCI X5s with M Sport Pkg come with new M Rims, 333M for 35i and 223M or 333M for 50i.
LCI X6s - I think 336 style was Pre-LCI X6 50i's 20" wheel option. Quote:
- LED angel eyes with Xenon headlight is standard on LCI X5s but no LED angel eyes on LCI X6. Full LED lights option will get you LED angel eyes, $1900 + $750 Cold Weather Pkg |

You're right. It says "The increase is +40 hp +30 lb-ft of torque on the X6 xDrive50i for total peak output of 440 hp and 480 lb-ft."

To be honest, it will be very hard to tell the difference between the 35i and 50i with the M Sport package now. |

Doug_999, I am really curious what are the differences between the 2012 Premium Sound, and those two new levels for the 2013. I ordered a 2013 with premium sound but not the "enhanced". The dealer said it was enhanced speakers. I need a great sound system and am worried that I need the "enhanced." Can anyone advise? Thanks!! 2013 x6 35i Midnight Blue Ivory Contour seats Premium Package Premium sound Technology package three seats 2nd row, Running boards |

Premium: Premium high-fidelity 16-speaker sound system with Digital Sound Processing (DSP), 2 subwoofers and digital 9-channel amplifier with 600 watts Enhanced: The 16-speaker system is comprised of one subwoofer below each front seat; and one mid-range and one high-range speaker each in the doors, D-pillars and instrument panel (center channel). A digital amplifier with nine channels and 825 watts (7x50 + 2x125) is also included. All speakers are fitted with very strong, yet compact Neodymium drives. The system also compensates for driving noise in smooth steps with speed dependent equalizing.

I will add two things
1. I'm very impressed with the Premium Sound on my X6 and have had two people comment that it is the best sounding car stereo they have ever heard. (I still probably would have ponied up for the Enhanced if given the chance). 2. I can't wait to see pics of your midnight blue/ivory combo.
