Replacing alternator, stuck bolt?
Trying to remove the lower alternator bolt (the one with the pulley mounted on it) and it is extremely tight I feel like I'm going to break it, any suggestions? (Center torx in the photo)

Have you sprayed WD-40 on it?
That’s possibly the only thing that would help. I’ve broken that pulley bolt twice on 2 different cars when loosening it. Once it’s broken, it threads right out. I’ve never had them seized in there. You might want to purchase a replacement bolt just in case. |
