Lowering my X6 (loose the nice ride??)

I have a 2008 X6 35i. I just put 22'' rims on it, and I think I would like it better dropped about 2' or so. Every time I have lowered a car or truck they seem to loose the ride. I really dont wanna loose the ride in the x6. Any suggestions???

I'm wondering this as well. Just got a 2012 35i and was thinking of lowering like some have done with the H&R springs. What is the effect, good and bad, on the ride?

i have a 09 35i with H&R springs. i have to leave the SPORT setting on ALL the time for a nice firmer ride. H&R Springs have a very soft squishy feel without the Sport turned on. im running the BMW OE Rims 215 21" with RFT. i mean i like the look but the ride quality sure went down from the stock feel. if you're going for looks, DO IT. with the sport mode on it feels a bit softer than it did stock. Body roll is very minimal and Active steering is the same.

I will be driving in a fair amount of snowy/wet conditions in the winter. Will lowering negatively effect the ride and or stability of this type of driving?

I dont think it really effects the ride far as snow or ice. I live in alaska and have had several lowered vehicles. You might hear the snow scape on the bottom a little more thats about it.

KW V3 adjustable coilover suspension with dampening and rebound control.

Maintain as good or better factory springs with adjustable drop..
