It's night and day different. A lot quieter, ride is so much better and handling is unchanged when you to to non RFT.

I went from the Bridgestone runflats to Michelin Diamari non runflats on my M. I thought the difference would be greater. It really isnt that much quieter, steering feedback is a bit less. The ride is slightly improved as they do seem smoother and not as jarring when you hit, for instance, an expension joint. I tried Michelin Lattitude HP's and did not like them at all. I'd recommend it but only when your runflats or out of life.

I have the Toyo Proxes ST II's. After a couple thousand miles here's what I can say. They're whisper quiet at any speed. They're amazing in pouring down rainstorm driving 70mph. I was driving 80 but slowed down due to visibility. Had no hydroplaning. They don't tramline either. Handling is excellent almost as good as my 335i with Michelin PS2's. I've read that they're good in snow, but I haven't experienced it for myself. Make sure you get an XL tire since they'll have a stiffer sidewall and a higher load capacity.

very noticeable softer ride. Lose balance feel in sharp corner at high speed due to softer tire wall but would prefer non RFT. Feel like driving a go cart in RFT.

Non-run flat
As long as you are getting a quality tire like a Michelin or a Continental the non-run flat will out perform and out last a run flat any day of the week. Bar none. No question
