E70 Center console a.c.

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the a.c. in the center console(under the arm rest)? Maybe I missed something when I was looking for it in the i-drive. The reason I want it off is, I keep my cell phone in their and it gets all wet from the cold and I'm afraid of damaging it. All my old 3 series had an on off switch in the center console
