2013 X6M Vehicles have now been released from the Monroney Hold!

I just got a call to confirm that the Monroney hold has been released on the 2013 X6M's. The X6M transport and deliveries should now be moving forward...

My X6M is supposedly scheduled to be at the dealer on or before 5/9. Of course I'm starting to think they really have no clue and will continue to throw out dates just to keep the anticipation high!

No - The cars ARE moving now. The hold was released late last week (as I posted). I expect its just a matter of getting them on the trucks and getting them shipped out. I don't expect the trucks were just sitting there waiting for the cars to be released...

I'm sure of this as I have a PDC delivery scheduled for Thursday and they absolutely refused to schedule anything until the hold was released. I'm lucky to have gotten such a quick slot. The folks at the PDC were wonderful in trying to make up for all these delays. All is good now.

BTW - They (PDC) were actually the folks who were providing the most accurate information as to the status of the Monroney hold (not the dealer, or the 800 customer service number, who both claimed no info....)

Picked up my 13 X6M today, sweet ride rainy and crappy out around here. Not much of a chance to really drive it.

Make sure you read the break in period protocol in the Suplemental X6M Manual. It asks you to limit revs for certain miles, and do not use Launch control for the first 3000 miles.
I should be picking mine up today in NJ.

Not to start a break in war, but, I would argue to drive it HARD from the start (not the brakes, the engine - after it is warmed up).

Picked mine up today. Full LED is not, there is a Bulb in there for the turn signal. I will see how bright the LED's are tonight.
