Where did you pick up the chip and what is the hp gain, etc? If it's just $600 I'll probably get one myself. I read another post where someone blew up their transmission though - sketchy.

I got the chip from Burgertuning. It is called the JB4. You can get a little feedback from other members of this forum if you do a search for it on the forum.

I never heard of damaged transmissions from the others who have mentioned ECU flashes, but I hope that if someone did suffer a bad experience with a damaged transmission due to having a chip installed, that it is more of the exception to the rule than a normal occurance... because that would suck.
