I just finished driving my 2013 X6M back home from the Performance Delivery Center. 900 miles, no interstates (for break-in), lots of mountain twisties and mostly 60-70 mph on 2/4 lane rural highways. Lots of stop and go at lights and stop signs in small towns along the way. 18.9 MPG averaged on a brand new (relatively tight) engine...

After 1 full year of driving, my overall average is 9 MPG. Always on M mode in NYC with a heavy foot and Dinan flash.
Love every second of driving it.
