anyone regret getting X6?

Does anyone regret getting their X6 and wish they just got an X5 (or something else) rather than their X6?

I have DEFINATELY seen some X6's on this forum that look just, well, sad really...Just check out the gallery,it's full of 'badoing' choices, either interior or exterior.

Congrats to all owners, you own a badass car, that can't be denied.

Nope, love driving this thing and the handling!.
X5 is good car had a few but it's for a different demographic.
This fits me perfectly, kids are grown (well out of the house) and our trips
are the wife, I and the dog.

I think the X6 is a X5 KILLER. Let me say that if I just bought a X5 and then saw a new X6, I would feel like I just bought the wrong car. My X6 is amazing and fun to drive. Exceeds my expectations. I do worry a little about the winter (just around the corner here in Pittsburgh) and how if it will get around in the ice/snow....We can discuss this more in a few months.

Not sure why everyone keeps refering to the X6 50i as a 5.0 or 5.0l because it is not a 5.0 liter engine. It is a 4.4 liter twin-turbo. 50i is just the model designation.

yes hard to understand what BMW was thinking on model names. Of course it could be that the 50 is short for 500 hp which what this same engine will produce when it is the 2010 Lotus... just a thought.

Not sure it matters. Those in the know understand what he meant.

Not at all...I still enjoying every minute of it! Even though I have had a problem with mine...I love it despite this, but I hope to get it resolved. The problem is that occasionally the engine will kind of lag at start up. Push button, cranks, cranks, cranks...then starts. It is only occasionally, so the dealer has not had a chance to figure out what it is. A little strange, so I'm a bit worried since it doesn't seem to be a common problem or easy fix. I did notice when it's doing it, it is only after the car has been driven and then sits for about an hour. If it sits all night, it's fine...if it only sits a little while, it's fine. Usually, it is just slow at starting...but one time the engine warning light came on and it said Engine malfunction - and it was VERY slow at getting going...like I was pulling a huge heavy trailer behind it. I drove it right to the dealership where it was 5:00 so they couldn't look at it until the next day. Well, of course, it ran completely great the next day. VERY weird.....

Anyway, the point is that I still think it was a great choice! I'd get it again, for sure.
