2009 X6 xDrive50i in Production!!! Exciting.....
My Dad's Cayenne Turbo replacement is FINALLY in production. The 1-800 number estimated the completion date to be October 22nd. He needed the X6 in August but decided to wait for full leather (all autos this expensive should have full leather standard). I've been specing cars for my parents since I was 12, and this is what I've ordered for my dad:
2009 BMW X6 XDrive50i $66,200 Vermilion Red Metallic (A82) $0 Saddle Brown Leather (LUD3) $0 Dark Bamboo Wood (4AZ) $0 Sport Package (ZSP) $3,200 (Keep the comfort seats) Premium Package (ZPP) $2,200 Full Leather (4M5) $1,900 Comfort Access (322) $1,000 20" Star Spoke Rims (259) (2LE) $950 Soft Close Doors (323) $600 SIRIUS Satellite Radio (655) $595 Heated front seats (494) $500 Rear-View Camera (3AG) $400 Running Boards (328) $300 Destination charge $825 Options: $12,470 Total MSRP: $78,670 Installed at delivery: *Tint *Clear Bra *Ipod Adaptor I can't wait for it to arrive. It's going to be one amazing, unique vehicle. Look for pictures when it arrives.... Matt |

He couldn't tell the difference between the two systems. Therefore, I decided to save $2,000. Car manufacturers make a lot of money from people who think they need every option. Had he noticed a difference, I would have speced it.

I did the same, I could not really see the quality improvments over cost, so left it off, I play most music through the IPOD anyway and sound quality is very good standard.

Should have ordered the Heads-Up Display. Of all the options I ordered, and I ordered most of them, this is by far my favorite one and I am really glad I ordered it because I use it everyday and it is great with Nav.
