Vorsteiner or OEM CF lip for X5M

I'm almost ready to purchase one but now I can't decide which one to get.
I wanted to get the Vorsteiner but decided to take my family to a fancy vacation so I decided to postpone the mod (its winter anyway). Then I started to drool on the OEM lip for about 2 months now.

About a week ago, I asked my friend which one would he get - he said the Vorsteiner look more aggressive, which after looking at pictures the past few days, I realized, yeah, it does look better.

Now, my dilemna...I can get the OEM in 2 weeks from a BMW dealership, the Vorsteiner in 5 weeks from a vendor. I know the OEM will fit better and looking at ebay, there are a lot of Vorsteiner lookalike and I'm scared I might get a fake one.

Which would you get?
For forum vendors, feel free to PM me your best price and ETA. Thank you.

I'll contradict and say get the OEM one. I have it, I think its more classy. The Vorsteiner looks kind of bulky to me.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I was ready to buy the OEM as I know I will have perfect fit and (possibly) better quality but I wanted to check if the Vorsteiner will be relatively cheaper.

I've heard from a few vendors and still waiting for a couple more but at the moment, the price difference is $100. Its a no-brainer, the OEM is a better buy. But we'll see in a couple of days if a better deal pops up.

Thanks again for all the inputs.

Is the question posed to all about fitment? Well there is no doubt OEM is almost 99.999% guaranteed to fit the first time.

However, if you're looking at looks, who are you trying to impress, you or people looking at you? Looks are subjective, get what YOU like.

I bought a Vorsteiner lookalike hood for my M3 and even as meticulous as I am with having a clean car...within 6 months the hood began to pit and peel...a total pos and waste of money...I bought a real Vorsteiner hood and couldn't be happier with the looks and QUALITY...whichever direction you decide to go should look great as long as you don't buy a lookalike...trust me
