e70 electro-mechanical parking brake failure
Hi all,
I have a 2011 e70 3.5 diesel. It is out of warranty it currently has a parking brake error that i found. I used a bavarian technic cable to find the fault. it is fault 6031 mech manual moved and 6034 mech motion timeout. Does anyone have a clue on what is wrong? |

I took time to take out the whole parking brake module in the back of the x5 and found a broken Bowden cable. If anyone else has these fault codes, it's probably a damaged cable or sensor.
