Nox sensor

Hey guys my 2009 x5 just shot me a code. Last summer I changed the Metering Unit, but I did not re calibrate the car. Ever since, the check engine light has been on. Went to Auto Zone and they showed me this... Also, what is the best tool to buy to re calibrate, since I do not want to pay the dealer for it. Thanks.

I believe P124D is the NOX sensor. You can reset it, but the error will come back. They have to be replaced. I believe BMW will do it, as they have extended the warranty on them.

I have a 07 X5 4.8l with only 49k. Just recently cel came on. Check code was a p3203. Car hesitates during acceleration. When I clear the code, it drives normally but only for a short period of time until it comes back. Yesterday while waiting for a wash, the rpm started jumping for just a short time. It also died out on me once while waiting on a red light. Just last night I checked the code again and this time 3 codes popped up. The p3203 is no longer there anymore. Instead, I got p1039, p1036, and p3205. What could be the problem?
I hope it's just the o2 triggering the nox because the nox is super expensive and I doubt there's any warranty left to replace the nox.
