Steering wheel adjustment not working
Getting in to the car yesterday I noticed that my steering wheel didn't move to adjust itself as usually it does.
I went to manually adjust the height but for my surprise there is nothing, the wheel isn't moving any directions, I also don't hear any sounds. Anybody have any suggestions? TIA!

I will have to look, I checked diagram and it looks like Fuse 12 is responsible for
(10A) Steering column function control module. Thank you I'll report back if fuse is the issue...

I'm not sure which lock section you referring to? TIA! EDIT: I think I just realized that you talking about locking/unlocking doors etc., is this right? I will go and check Auto settings right now...

I just checked and no I don't see Auto settings...
All options in the Doors Settings are checked for All the doors, there is an option for return seat in to last driving position, that option is checked as well. I tried to uncheck it and check it back but it didn't make a difference.

the lever doesn't do anything, also there is no sound of motor when I'm trying to use it, I've tried moving seats using different memories and none of them seems to trigger the steering wheel.

Thank you all for advises, especially to BaggedX5
As it turned out the issue was with some loose connection behind the multimedia unit. It's been fixed and steering wheel adjustment works now! Thanks again

Glad you fixed it! But how ironic. After this post I noticed my steering wheel isn't coming to the memory position when putting the key in slot. I can move it via the toggle adjuster and it rises when removing the key but a pain when first entering to drive away I have to adjust to the correct position

I appreciate your reply, this happened over a year ago and I figured out the issue since, in my case it was related to loose wire while installing new multimedia system, it fixed itself when I reconnected the cables!

do you remember which wire it was? I just installed my Avin unit and slowly the wheel went from working, to only moving when i got out and in of the car automatically but the switch to adjust it not working. And now it does nothing.

unfortunately I don't remember which exact wire or harness it was, just do what I did, reconnect and hopefully it will fix itself like in my case!

Thanks, I'll pull it all back apart and see what's going on. Although my heated steering also isn't working, might be related, everything else on the wheel and the seat works.

No dice, everything is connected back there. Must be something else. Anything know which of the two green relays in the front fuse box is for the heated wheel? Is that also for the telescoping?

I am having the same problem. Wiring diagram says slots 1, 134 for steering wheel adjustment. Both fuses are OK. I too was fiddling with the head unit but everything back there seems fine. I'm assuming nothing for the wheel goes through head unit cabling (why would it?). Everything else on the wheel is working (heat, volume, turn signals, etc). All seat adjustments work fine. It's only tilt and telescopic not working.
