x6 50i vs x6M

I just pondered the same question! We are getting the X6 for my wife. My brother has an X5M so I am pretty familiar with that performance. We test drove the 50i and I was very surprised how similar it was. To me it was 80% there. If the vehicle was for me, there is no question we would have gone with the X6M (I've always got to have the best model of the series) but my wife didn't really seem care... So we ordered the 50i. Saved some $'s. It is arriving in two weeks. Either way they are both incredible vehicles. Another benefit is that there was a significant discount available for the 50i, but not the M.

As for the other points in the thread above about women preferring the X5... My wife does not like the X5, and has always preferred the X6.

That dinan upgrade actually takes the car to another level, Beyond X5M or X6 and I belive faster then the 2009 M5 V10 torquewise. Either way you cant go wrong

Have you picked a color yet? the monaco blue on the 5 is always very prestige even though im a jet black man myself, had to ask..

Was looking at the Monaco Blue with Cinnamon Brown interior and there was some good photos of one in san Diego on the Internet last night, but my wife hated it. Leaning now to cobalt with CB. Have never owned a black color car so a little nervous.

Looking at the 550, you are not too far from a 740. Might consider this as well.

Given that I am about to send two more boys off to college and be down to one last kid, I think the 550 is plenty big.

Monaco and cinn is a glorious combo, carbon black is also really crisp but i cant get that deep sea blueish monaco out of my mind. There is a 550 in stamford with that she is definitely a head turner.. Keep it ralph lauren'd brothers
