your wheels look great by the way. Nicely toned with the Grey colour. And the wider exhaust tips give it a nice more muscular look. Very nice.
For how many kms are you going to break it in? 2000kms? |

lovin those wheels!, they look like a gunmetal finish, or is it just the light?
Can you post a pic of the rear to show the retro fit 5.0i tips? I had mine done and I think mine are at a funny angle. |

Hey everyone one, thank for all your comments, I'm so in love with this car its worrying! I'll post some more pics ASAP of the inside and the back etc etc.
I'm not kidding she fits in the garage with 1cm to spare, we have to bounce her off some bubble wrap at the back just to get her in lol. The wheels are sprayed in BMW Ferric Grey, the colour is incredible, its different every where you look, I really think it makes the wheels look bigger without ruining the ride and going for the 21" Anyone who has ordered the 40d will love it, the steering is better than the 35d we tested, the handling is second to none and the power, wow its really not phased by the bulk of a body at all. |

Its a double Garage and thankfully the Z4M is tiny against the white spaceship so there is plenty of room to open the doors
Running in period, thats a good question I have no idea i'll have to ask my partner. We wont be doing much milage in it thats for sure. |

Got some more pictures of the inside and the exhausts for you guys!
I met my Partner afterwork today to grab a drink at the pub in the sunshine. I had the X6 and he had his Z4M they looked AMAZING parked next to each other! According to him the whole pub was jaw dropping when I drove off, the Sunroof is great you can pump the tunes up with it open so everyone can hear without the windows down which would make it obvious you are posing. Not that I'd ever do that of course. Of course they might not have been looking at the car it might have been me they were jaw dropping at. High heals, short shorts long legs long hair LOL Anyways I'm a petrol head and proud of it |

Ah ok,
The trim is called Black Flywheel Aluminum interior trim, and feels very well made when taped. (One of my little quality tests) Also no sticky finger marks show unlike the piano black or wood. The tips, well I am sure i've mentioned it somewhere. Basically they are the normal ordered rectangular tips from the BMW dealership. Unfortunately it was discovered that they didn't fit on the 40D because the exhaust system its different from the 35D which the tips were designed for. As the 40D still isn't available in the UK (Unless you get a dealer slot) until September there was no other choice but to have these. There are no new redesigned ones for the 40D or no instructions on how to fit the exhausts onto a 40D from BMW as yet. Anyway I wasn't having any of that and told the dealership parts guys to use their brain and put them on or I'm not having it! (I wanted them really badly i don't like the little round ones) So thats it basically, i know they had to be altered to be fitted and cut but they are perfect. |

Hi Amy, am very keen on replacing my X6M with a decent diesel but would want it top spec - love the Ferric Grey alloys on your car - are they the 19" BMW Individual wheels?
Thanks, Nigel |
