This is one of my first few posts on 1addicts andf my 135i is in NC right now and I will hopefully be yaking delivery on Mon/Tues...
I am coming from a 2005 Mustang GT manual and I have put $3000 in mods in it. Tires/Tune/3.73/Underdrive Pully/Intake and some other goodies, and I have run as low as 13.2 in the 1/4 mile which is comparable to a stock GTO. In fact I have raced several of the LS2 goats and its always a drivers race. I had some drive time in a GTO and interior quality is great, and the sound of that LS2 is amazing, but to me the car seems a bit bland, I look at it as a cavilier that has lifted some weights I do like the added bits on the european holden/monaro version though. It depends on what you want. I know you can get a used mustang GT like mine for rougly $15,000. GTOs are rare and you wont see one on every street like Mustangs, but I do know that the GTO will be a bit more expensive... My pick is the Mustang but thats only because I am secretly the whole reason for GM's currrent delima that you read about in the papers Oh...and I am a Ford man... |
