Bluetooth audio streaming on a 2010 and which color is the fastest?

Good afternoon all!

I hope some have found humor in my second question!

I've lurked around for about 6 months now trying to decide if this was/wasn't the right vehicle for me. Now that I am much more involved in the platform and plan to move forward I've spent time finding the differences for all of the different years.

I know that you can do the LED tail lamps on the 2010 with a kit and flash but can you do some sort of software update or change that will allow Bluetooth streaming?

I've searched around with no clear answers as to yes or no.

Thanks for any help!

Mossburg

Hello,

I believe you would have to retrofit the combox since it was added for MY2011 production from 9/10.

I did a simple $5 eBay Bluetooth dongle, works perfectly.

Interesting. I haven't had much experience with those in years. Years ago a lot of quality was lost in the Bluetooth adapter. Do you find it quality to be as good with them nowadays ?

I use it literally every day, works perfectly. I used it for months in my garage so that I could still do things in the garage while having my phone to text, take pics, etc while working on cars. I bought the X5M not realizing it only has Bluetooth for calling, which switches back and forth automatically during driving. Just get the same one I posted, not those cigarette lighter tuner ones.
