M5 Wheels fit on X5

Just sold my 2007 M5 and have the winter wheel/tire combo sitting in my garage. Will these fit on my 2011 X5 xdrive50i? Just curious.. need winter tires and would rather throw on the brand new winter setup from the M5 then buying new wheels/tires.

For the tires, don't think so, but just to be sure, on Tire Rack site.
For the wheels, I do think that they have the wrong offset, and the center bore is maybe also too small.

Finally, decided to do the search for you

Offset is right, but center bore won't fit:

Car Years Bolt pattern Thread OEM hex Hub Offset

M5 2006-10 5x120 12x1.50b 17mm 72.6 +47
X5 2011-12 5x120 14x1.25b 17mm 74.1 +48

Tires

M5 255/45R18 27in high
X5 255/55R18 29in high

For the wheels, you'd have to get them machined to 74.1 (or buy spacers that convert from 74.1 to 72.6).
Also, and it may sound bizarre, but try to fit an X5 bolt thru the wheel.
I'm not sure, but they may not fit.
If they do, you should have the wheels.

Tires will definitively be too low (a full 2 in, which converts to 6% in tire size difference).
Usually, it's not recommended to go below 2%.

I've calculated the tires for the M5, since they don't list M5 as being able to use 18"...

You my friend are an incredible man! Wow.. I owe you a beer. Thank you for the insight. I have listed them for sale.. as your right about the entire diameter being smaller, I should have put two and two together before the post. Appreciate it!
