Video in for DVD system

Hi,

i read the manual for the the DVD system and saw that it also has a VIDEO IN possibility. Thats very nice because it means that I can play video into the system using a external hard disk media player. My 1 question, is that

1. when the car is stationary, can you also play it onto the front screen?

if the answer to the above is yes, then it means that with the hack u can buy on ebay, it will be able to play on the move on the front screen using the hard disk media player. thats my ultimate goal.

PS - i can not try it myself cause i dont have the car yet

It will only play in the front screen stationary provided the gear is in park position only. Safety is important. I don't recommend it to play on the move.
