Hi all, from Norway !
I'm just about to order, and "think" I have made up my mind about exterior/interior.
For the interior : BMW Individual leather - extended leather
trim Champagne, with BMW Individual fine-wood trim Figured
eucalyptus, red bronwn.
Exterior: Saphire black

So, the question is, anyone in here with the same combo, and some pics ? :-)

Other interesting parts is the new Stop&Go ACC

I don't like the ACC it triggers my laser detector too freq. I like the color combo though. BTW the ACC is very $$ in US.

Hi, first of all conrats on your about to be order . Some points:
1. If you encounter traffic a lot, i suspect that the ACC will be a GREAT benefit. If you drive a lot, it should be worth it.

2. What colour leather are you taking?
3. Why do you prefer black to other colours? I am just curious. Black X6's (in my opinion of course) are much less distinctive and you see much less of its beautiful shape. Do explain.

4. What other options are you taking? Adaptive drive? Self leveling suspension? Premium sound? Active Steering?

does ACC trigger RD in your Porsche ? or in X6 ?

Hi all...

First of all, ACC exencive in US ?, you have never been to Norway !!
Base price X6 35i is USD 203,000.-
Black car, well it seems to be "the safest bet" in respect of 2. hand value her.
A white car is considered to have 6% less than black, after 3 years.
Leather color, Champange seems to be the best for this combo.
I will order a 30d inline 6 diesel, all other versions is way to expencive for me:-)
One gallon gasoline there is USD 7,50, if my calculator is correct
And last, I will try to install the FLIR Nightview, if I find a way to have video in while driving

my experience with ACC was in a 2008 Infiniti FX which had active cruise control. It used lasers to judge distance. my RD went crazy when I used it and I basically had to shut ACC off perm. I like the idea of acc esp stop and go. but I didn't want to serious extra $$ option. my 2011 is pretty loaded without ACC so I had to draw the line.

first of all i am not from the states. i am from the netherlands. And here the tax 27% (it was 45% but dropped last Jan)., so i feel your pain.

Get this, in poland, the X6 is considered as a truck, so you dont even need to pay BTW!! . so its tax free.

Are you choosing the colour of your car based on how much you will sell it for in say 3yrs? Dont you want to choose the best colour that YOU like and will enjoy?

And secondly, are you very very sure that black sells more than white? Many forum polls i have seen about colour choice has the WHITE colour winning.

white is much better i think for the x6..i agree...i was debating if I should order the white or black...I love black cars much more...but for some reason I think the white looks much better for the x6. Black just seems to plain for it

Black ? :-), honestly I do like the black, I was on white but after seen pictures here, and not only the brocheours I think you have to go "all the way" with rims/endpipes/black windows and so on to make it
"right", standard x6 30.d seems abit "plain"
About pricing, we are outside the EU, had a look at the UK pricing, and with import taxes here, it will come out with the same price...

About pricing, we are outside the EU, had a look at the UK pricing, and with import taxes here, it will come out with the same price...

Import prices there are based on a specific net price. The UK net price is much lower than the Norwegian net price. So add the same tax onto the norwegian net price and it has to be less. its simple maths.

That should be true, and it is, but because of the high taxes here in norway, we have the best net pricing in europe, Norway and Denmark have the best "net" pricing, the other difference is that we get factory "down tune" on the engines, to take down the taxes, for example we get the X630d with 211 Hp as a alternative to the stok 245 Hk

Dont forget the currency differences.

What is the net price of the 30d?
