E70 next to the new F85

Surprised to see the new F85 X5M already delivered here in Canada, I'm still not a huge fan of the front end design, but overall it does look quite good

I think it looks great, makes our outgoing E70s look dated somewhat.

F85 is starting to grow on me...
Only complaint from me is that the fogs makes the front end less clean.

Disagree. I find the design uninspired, especially the rear. But I don't like BMW's current design language in general. It's like when VW killed my love for the GTi with the Mark V egg.

Not a competition for me, not a big fan of the rear F85. E70 is the clear winner here, especially that example... so nice.

The E70 X5M is nice, but in love with the F85 X5M too!

That's what usually happens.. It looks more aggressive however the E70s is more subtle looking.

The F85 rear fender arches makes it look pregnant instead of muscular...

I still don't like the foglights.

Foglight delete anyone?

...or perhaps I am just picking over it because I'm not in a position to own one at the moment?

yea the rear arches annoy me too, it doesn't flow into the body panel at all, the extra width looks like an after through

Overall, I love the new F85 design and prefer it to the E70, though the LCI E70 looks great too.

I'm the type that like sharp edges on the car, and E70 has more of it than F85.
