New X5 M photos
These latest pictures of the X5 M reveal all the distinctive M trademarks now on the X series cars. These include big wheels, brakes, quad exhausts, fender grills and large mouth'd front bumper.
Most distinctive is that fact that the X6 front end will be grafted onto the X5 so that the M-X5 and M- X6 will share an identical front end similar to the way the E90 and E92 M3 share an identical front end even though the body and rear are markedly different. |

I am surprised for a vehicle of it's size, weight and performance that the brakes aren't at least cross drilled like all of the other m cars in production. The brakes look up to the job but fade may be an issue.

The Question remains, is this good enough to be an ///M, being an SUV I hate to say it, but I just don't think it is. BUT, we will have to wait and see.

You be the Judge and define "endager" for me Personally I do not think it would hold up, and if any damage is caused it would probably turn into a civil matter. |

looks good , though I think the exhaust pipes should be bigger and better shaped , same bumper on both X5 and X6...? I dont like the idea , and I hope they wont have the same engines and everything , like 500hp both M X5 X6 , just like M5 M6....two same cars , thats boring to me

"The M3 Sedan draws the lion's share of its mechanicals with the M3 Coupe. It also shares a number of body parts -- the nose of the M3 coupe is grafted directly onto the M3 Sedan. This in its own right separates the M3 from 'normal' 3 Series sedans. Like the coupe, most of the changes happen under the skin, however -- way under. The body benefits from the same sort of beefing up around the suspension mounting points as the coupe, and (a la M3 coupe) the sedan's suspension shares just one single component with the donor 3 Series four door -- the rear track control arm. Most components are fashioned using aluminium."
