Any X6 3.5 engines do tunes?

Wondering if anyone has done a JB4 Tune or a PROcede tune ? I looked into a tune from my local dealership and they did not have one as of now for a 2013 3.5 motor. I see a lot for the 5.0 and X6M but haven't seen shit for my motor. Anyone else here play around with it yet?

I had a JB4 stage 1 tune on my 2013 3.5 and loved the power until........
Reduced power mailfunction and tranny issues
Took the tune out and had it towed to bmw
ended up my DM2 computer and ECU were fried as well as some of my tranny parts
The car was in the shop over 2 weeks getting repaired and everything was covered under warranty (thankfully)
Will never tune this thing again

on the other side, my old E92 335 was jb4 tuned and no issues

WOW... thats all I needed to hear! I'll just stick to figuring out how to put HID fogs on this thing. Another pain in the ass. This truck is meant to have rims and drive it as is! Next time I'll get a 5.0 if I want more power.

if you have the LED headlights, you will have to make sure you do not put your lights on auto or else they wont work due to dynamic lighting

The 35i motor in the X models has a different computer to the 35i motor in all other models. The Stg 1 plug in will work but you can't use a full blown JB4 like I ran in my 335i.

I would question anyone that states they have a flash tune that actually works on the X. Not saying that they don't but not a lot of folks understand that the X has a different ECU.

So you think I can get a COBB Flash done then and I'll be okay at Stage 1... No intake just a stock tune with the COBB flash? I don't need tremendous power like my last car I just want to have a little more action... Its kind of a dog at times

How much is the Cobb access port and can I flash in my driveway myself?

I just had JB4 installed on my X6 35i 2009 with N54... Are you certain it was the JB4 that killed your ECU? Which map were you running? Was the JB4 the GS4 or GS5 ISO version?

Yes, let's put this into perspective, there are literally tens of thousands of JB4 installs on N54 and N55 engines that have never experienced a problem. It is a robust product - well proven and tons of fun. My 09 N54 335i was a blast on JB4.
