LED Bulbs for Turn Signals F/R

Hi Folks. Are there easy plug-n-play bulbs out there to get the factory look of LED for my front and rear turn signals on my E70 without errors/canbus/flash module issues? I saw some previous postings, but nothing specific regarding brand/model #. Thanks!

I'm curious what you mean by 'factory look of LED' - ? The factory turn indicator bulbs are not LED, at least the front aren't.

Either way, I've read the new Weisslicht LED bulbs won't throw an error - I think there are a few threads on it if you search around.

Looks good. Are they blinking white as well?
The switchback LED bulbs are getting popular now. Clean white look when static and amber when blinking

They do blink white. I like the idea of white when static and amber when blinking.

By "factory look", I just meant similar color (amber?) to other current BMWs with LEDs. Does anyone have actual item/model #s for Weisslicht or switchback?

Here is a picture of the Weisslicht LED bulb that is clear when not in use but turns to the amber color. Plug and play with no errors and no flickering at start up.

Umm.. *ALL* LED bulbs are clear when not in use. It's not like they are painted orange to be reflecting.

Now, switchbacks are a different story. White when static (ON), amber when blinking. I need to research and see which one is good for X5..

That's what I meant, switchbacks... not sure if WeissLicht makes them for X5. Let me know if you find them... I need them

Yeah, it's steep but the light output is very good from the weislight bulbs. I tried a few other cheaper ones and they don't compare. I used amber up front and red in the back. White in back makes pink through the lens. No errors or hyper flash. Have a set in our F30 as well and they work great there too. I had to code on the F30 to avoid flashes every minute or so. No coding needed on the e70.

I ordered these switchbacks from WeissLicht but when I received my order they were the wrong type of bulbs meaning they didn't come with a socket that attaches to the base that screws into the back of the head lights. I called customer service which sucks by the way and was told switchbacks will NOT fit on an E70...I'm in the process of returning them and what really pisses me off is they will not give me back what I paid because , I have to pay to ship them back and there keeping 20% for a re-shelving fee!!! If I were you I would steer clear of these criminals and look for a different vendor

LED turn signals

This is what I received, as you can see there is no socket attached. I'm not sure what type of car these are for

Where did you buy them? I have always purchased them through Bimmian. Never any problems and they have great customer service.

I bought them from Bimmian...I told them on the phone that I saw a forum member's post with pictures who had installed them on his E70 and was told not to believe everything I see and read on forums...the guy was rude and insisted that they DONT make a set of switchbacks for an E70

Wow, I had a very different experience. I ordered something and needed to return it (my fault) and they refunded the purchase and had me keep the item because it was to expensive to ship back. No restocking fee.

The shouldn't be rude, but he is correct. They don't carry switchbacks for our model. If you select the E70 on the website you will see what is available.

I was actually shocked to the rude response I received especially since I just recently spent over $700 on a total LED upgrade for the E70 and some other stuff for my E46
