wire thru the door boot

Anyone know how to access the car side entry to the door boot? I want to run wire for new speakers thru it. I took of the cover to the trunk release but it's still extensively blocked. I was told maybe removing the dead pedal..but that doesn't seem to be in the right location...can anyone confirm?
