E70 Rear Air Strut problem

I think my right side rear air strut is leaking air. After car is parked for 48 hours one side gets fully deflated ( see pic ). After I drive the car for 3 min its levels out. ECU do not have any error codes. Time to change both air struts ? My car is 08 4.8i with 93K miles.

Untl someone that has delt with this problem chimes in, I'd say it's a leak and if you need to R&R one, I'd just be inclided to do them as a set like I would most other suspension or brake items, but wait for other who are more in the know respond.

Generally speaking anytime a shock/strut/suspension bit wears or fails, you replace the entire end of that axle. This is just good best practice.

So replace both rear components, even if only one failed. Who knows when the other will fail... Save a life, and fix it right the first time. Its' also a great time to inspect all other suspension components for repair, replace, lube, maintenance, alignment, etc.

Hi Sergeny1,

Have you found a solution to your Rear Air Suspension issue yet? There are possible ways you can fix this and at low cost too if you have not already done so.
