New to forum
I'm new to this forum and wanted to say hello. I just bought a 2012 35d x5 and its nice. Before that I had a 2008 528xi that was also very nice but it was time to upgrade.
I like to stay up to date in the car world and find that forums are the best place to find honest opinions. I look forward to learning anything new. |

You really need to have a full 4x4 (diff locks etc, and jacked up), you could stick to the bitumen roads but then thats not around Australia, it also takes around 3 months as well. May do a few shorter trips to the wine country in NSW which would be a 2000klm trip. I have flown to Ayres Rock (the Dingo got my Baby fame) and driven back thru SA, thru the Barossa Valley wine area, then the Great Ocean Road into Melbourne Vic, then flown home to Brisbane. We hope to get up your way in future to have a look around, this Christmas the family is going to Fiji (Turtle Is), my daughter is getting married, thats why I have bought a new X5 now as of after Christmas I will be broke!!!!!!.
