18" wheels on X5 5.0i, will it fit?

BMW OEM alloy
18" wheels on 2012 X5 5.0i, will they fit?

i believe 18" is a better option for winter setup.

Shouldn't be an issue. I have 18" for my winter set-up. Realoem also shows an 18" is available for 2012's, too.

Yes, they will fit with no issues. I too, run OEM 18" with winter tires on my 2012 X 35i in the winter. They just look silly small housed under the flared fenders.

I think the 5.0 has bigger front rotors so the 35i is probably not the right comparison.

The 50i has 365mm front rotors while the 35i has 348mm.

You all are forgetting that the base 50i rides on the 18" rims that the 30i used to ride on pre-LCI.

Yes, but does a base model 50i that comes with 18" wheels have the 348mm rotors and 50i ordered with factory 19" wheels (or M-sport) have 365mm rotors. By the time you add the splash gaurd and the caliper it must be a tight fit.

If your running 18" on a 50i what rotor do you have?

Here is a photo of my previous M-Sport with 365mm rotors with the factorty standard 20" m-wheel.

It would be close call for 18" to fit..............

Heres a photo of the M50d, rotors are 385mm with 20" rims, there is now way you would get 19" on.
