Has anyone installed a roof rack system on their X5/X6 M?

So I'll probably be taking a road trip this summer, want to be able to install a carrier on the rack. I already have the rails but would need to install cross bars, etc. Has anyone already done this?

I bought the 54" eBay specials. They work great and aren't as tall as the BMW ones

I have OEM cross bars installed, used for ski trips. What exactly is your question?

Are you looking for a installation guide? Maybe if you can tell us what you have, or if you had any images then we could give you some suggestions and help.

Sorry for not being more clear...just wanted to know if anyone w/ a X5M has installed crossbars & carriers on their roof rails...
