Another Should I?

The lust of a V8 is calling - and the impracticality of an X6 for a fun car.

How can I tell if the N63 Customer Care not-a-recall has been performed or not? And does that give me any piece of mind vs warranty coverage?

I've found a 1 owner X6 with the Performance Package, just over 50k miles - is it worth it?

I know it's not a sane decision - I currently have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with everything that I should love. But it's just a bit boring...

Get yourself an SRT, the boredom will evaporate.

The SRT has crossed my mind, but at $50k+ I'd still have a jeep

You mean "still just a Jeep" LOL.

We don't own Jeeps. Calling these vehicles Jeeps is sacrilege. They're re-badged Dodges, pure and simple. A real Jeep is a solid-axled truly off-road capable vehicle. None of this IFS/IRS crap.

Don't get me wrong; I love my GC. I just feel a bit hypocritical every time I see the Jeep emblem on her LOL

I bought a 2010 X6 5.0I in January with over 80k miles in it and now it has 100K. I have been driving this BMW all over the east coast and I cannot be any happier. You can check to see if he Care package has been performed if you have the VIN number. Go to thet BMW website and enter the VIN number: http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...eoverride=true

It will tell you what recalls are pending.

Edited: Oops!! I just re-read your post! I took the X6 to the dealer and asked them to do the Customer care package and they told me that it has already been done!

Thanks - it does have the open airbag recall - would use that as a bargaining point, but my jeep has an open recall as well
