New X5 owner
My wife's 335 and my Lexus GS430 were flooded and totaled by Sandy (the East coast super storm). We've bought a new BMW for my wife - its a BMW X5 xdrive 5.0, platinum gray with black nappa leather, including premium sound, premium 2, cold weather and tech packages. We didn't pick it up yet, its still sitting at the dealership lot because our neighborhood looks like a war zone, there is mud, debris, garbage, bulldozers, and dump trucks everywhere.
I'll be sure to post pics once the truck is in my possession. |

Congrats and good luck with the new X5! Sorry to hear about your Sandy losses and know the feeling as I am in New Jersey and lost my shore home.

Finally picked her up Thursday night. Haven't driven her much at all - its been drizzling non stop since yesterday morning, mud everywhere, don't want to get her dirty.
One little disappointment, it turns out that it didn't have BMW apps, which comes with integration for iphone. My dealer is looking into retrofitting it for me. |

Och, I can't believe they let you on this side of the woods.
Welcome to the dark side - officially. PS - glad you are OK from the storm.

Slowly recovering from it, and hoping this never happens again. |
