Sounds like Mhd has a great tune at an affordable price. Cant wait to install and give everyone my reviews!
Awesome, well if you need any help let any of us know on here and of course Justin@mhd or MHD Tuning

I just had the MHD installed and while loving it, I've noticed that the difference between cobb and MHD in terms of driving is it's smooth delivery however, Cobb does provide me with more low end torque, is it me or anyone else feeling the same?
Btw, I was searching for the linear throttle option to help compensate for the difference in low mid torque feel but can't find it. Is it only for the N54 or I was just not meddling it enough to find the option?

so the n55 tune is still in Beta. follow the MHD thread in the e90 n55 section, they are adding linear throttle soon and there should be an update soon (v.25) . the linear throttle should be of great value to us x5 folks, on my e90, throttle seems ok. the extra weight on the x5 makes the throttle feel non linear.

Yea! Should help us a lot! Also did you find that the car is abit reluctant to rev up?
When I was using Cobb S1+ getting it rev up is quite effortless. Nevertheless I do love how the MHD drives just hoping to have that little bit extra to make it worthwhile! My AP3 was like used for only 4mths.

in the v24 mhd you are using, yes, however wait for v25, it is rev happy. turbo is alot more responsive. also try stage 1+, you can use it on stock, just as long as you are constantly racing it. then the IAT raise up too high but i haven't noticed any issues on both e90 and e70 with 1+ on full stock.

I don't usually WOT very often but when I do the stg 1+ is extremely fun to show off on the roads. And it shuts up most people who think our SUVs aren't that fast like the 50i or X5Ms

v0.25 maps should be available in a couple days. i trutly feel these v0.25 maps are a HUGE improvement for you all. Several of the verison updates were mostly to combat an limp mode error that was happening.

The v0.25 maps from my personal feelings (which technically mean nothing to the user) are bounds better than the v0.24 maps currently out. Im sure some of the v0.25 testers can vouch. but they should be out soon.

So would you say the 0-60 is 50i like or 60+ ?

Just curious.

What option would you do to be 50i like from 0-60 or is that even possible.

Thanks!

I'm going to assume this was addressed to me since I mentioned the 50i portion haha

Well I ran against my buddies 50i and we were neck and neck with one another from a dig up to 70 because we chose to stop at that point. Granted, I took a hit, he took a hit and then the last run was almost close which was the neck to neck part. I'm sure anything passed that 70 I would've probably lost

Option wise, I wouldn't really want an option to be 50i like, I would rather have the option to BEAT the 50i. Of course that'll require a few bolt-on's and a stg 2/stg 2+ flash possibly or a custom tune with some E-85

Thanks for keeping us updated on this forum Justin, I know the e90post is super active compared to this one. Feedback I've seen from the testers and even logs you've posted look really good for the v0.25 maps. So personally, I'm looking forward to the updated release OTS maps

Yes! Thanks Justin for the update here and not forgetting us X folks!! In my region, it's quite rare to find anyone meddling with the E70!

Also!! Anyone done the golf tee? Lol.... wanting to try it but worried it will affect the low ends. But in my region, there isn't any option of an approved exhaust for this model!

I just unplugged the connector on my e90/e92. Works fine. If you can't pull the connector install the gold tee. Louder exhaust and a code is all it gives you. Does not effect performance, sound only.

Thanks for letting me know !

I'm thinking of getting the OEM BMW performance exhaust for the e70 and maybe this tune.

With 120k on the clock don't want to go to wild.

Looking forward to making this work.

FWIW I can't imagine driving an N54/N55 without a tune. Before I traded the E90 in I flashed back to stock for 3 days, it was like a different car.

I would get the tune on asap. Order the cable immediately.

I have the PE exhaust on my E92 and love it. Just loud enough with downpipes.

F Yes, i can't drive this car without a tune. if i switch to stock, it feels like i broke the charge pipe, there's nothing there when i floor it! hahaha. i used to think stock was great, but now being spoiled with a e90 under 5s to 60 and e70 under 6s to 60, can't do stock!

BTW all, new update out!

Any issues. As always I'm available via posting here, PM or via Email directly. Have at it everyone.

Well I just ran a corvette that was slightly modified and an M5 completely stock. I'm not sure what was up with the M5 but I beat both of them which I was a bit surprised. Maybe the M5 guy wasn't really pushing it because he should've whooped our butts

hahah, get that droid!

Yes, it's the new revised map. it's way smoother than v24. turbo kicks in very quick. I'm not sure about linear throttle, i've been meaning to ask but i think it has it, the throttle feels more linear now. it's more controllable and feels more natural.

if anyone has been on the fence with tuning, yall have to come on board now with v.90. it's a mad house. both my cars(e90/e70) just feels like a big NA V8 now. instant torque, great response and the engine is so much more predictable than stock.

I just flashed my car last night and we have great weather coming this weekend so I WILL be uploading some logs. (Yes super overdue on this part don't hate me )

I don't know if this matters to you guys but just starting up the vehicle is super smooth now. I felt it wasn't previously (not saying it's tune related) but after flashing to the v0.90 its smooth like butter
