Panaramic Sunroof Sunshade
For the last 5 - 6 months I've noticed that my sunshade randomly moves. I prefer to leave the glass exposed for the airy feeling. But the sun shade seems to move little by little until its halfway closed. It takes weeks to get to this point and in the past I didn't notice it until it reached the halfway mark at which point I would open it again and wonder if someone had pressed the button.
But after I started opening it consistently even if it was only a few inches closed I begin to notice that it was happening regularly. Does this happen to any one else? Is it some sort of safety feature? |

Wow interesting. Def not a feature.
Maybe pull the switch out of the ceiling and check the wiring attached to it. A loose or frayed wire could be randomly touching when hitting bumps??

Mine does the exact same thing and noticed it a few months ago. Drives me crazy and wondering the same thing.
I keep it closed in the summer, but like it open the rest of the year. If someone has an answer please post.

Curious. Open it fully then remove switch and monitor. If it still does it try pulling the fuse. If it still does it then it’s purely mechanical and maybe not seated properly in the mechanism that moves it. Just thoughts…GL
