Iphone adapter

Hello everyone:

I do have a 2012 X6 and want to install the BMW Apps Adapter but I’m not quite sure if my vehicle will support it.

In my country (Chile) we don't have the chance to order custom option packages, so we just get what the concessionary orders, and they don't even know about this device.

I have checked my VIN's (WBAFG8105DL288330) but can't find the code related to the support capability of the device but I still have some hope because my vehicle does have the snap-in connector at the hand cargo and it’s produced after 9/2010, actually June 2012.

In case my vehicle is not compatible is there any chance to add these options: 6NF or 6NR myself????

DEVICE STATE: Only applicable to vehicles produced after 9/2010 and equipped with either Smart Phone Integration (option code 6NF) or BMW Apps (option code 6NR)

For the pictures, do you want the regular interface or the special iPhone interface? You get your choice when doing music.

Ok, I looked and can't figure out where to do that. I also tried from Safari on my iphone and could not figure out how to send the address to my car either. Only a full browser seems to be able to do it (note, I did not spend a ton of time on this, nor did I try my friend google).

rodrigoventura - I checked with my dealer and he is not able to look up your car to figure out if you have apps or not (he can only check North American cars). Sorry!

I have only been able to send address from a full browser on Google maps. I don't have an iPhone. I was able to connect my Ipad and get Facebook alerts.... Still not comprehensive, but I am still playing with it.
