This exhaust sounds amazing and IMO way better than the others that I've heard that cost twice as much!!

Hey guys,

So I just spoke with someone at Fabspeed directly and we discussed getting the pricing lowered on the Supercup exhaust for the X5 M. They told me they could get more aggressive if we did a group order of around 10 or more. This is a great alternative to upgrading your exhaust without spending Akrapovic, Eiasenmann or Dinan money but not "cheap" like the Megan racing exhaust. The Supercup has a low deep aggressive sound and doesn't have that high pitch tuned civic sound like I've heard on some other aftermarket ones. Fabspeed primarily does Lamborghini, Porsche and Ferrari exhaust systems but came up with a very good exhaust for the M. They are very good at what they do and really have a high quality product. The other thing is the product is made in the US, have outstanding customer service and have been very helpful with answering questions over the phone and email. Please let me know if anyone else is also interested in ordering one. Check out this link to hear how great it sounds on the X5 M.

Is it basically a straight pipe setup?

It's a axleback system that goes right onto the straight pipe and weighs less than stock.

This is my truck.

Truck has a nice deep growl now at idle and deacceleration, it is alot louder when you hit the gas. Drone starts at around 80/85 mph but it is hardly noticeable.

I think the truck sounds like it should now.

You loose the exhaust valve, make sure they are plugged or you loose power. I used interior plug clips and some gasket maker to seal them.

They are much lighter then the stock exhaust.

Makes driving around in M+Sport mode a hell of a lot more audible and fun.

I still have cats right now ... sure it will sound great if they were not in the way

I plan on installing this exhaust in the near future... what do you mean by "You loose the exhaust valve, make sure they are plugged or you loose power. I used interior plug clips and some gasket maker to seal them." Pics of this would be great too.
Thanks!

They are the vacuum lines that open the exhaust flap for the second exhaust outlet which is normally closed.

If you look underneath at the exhaust you will see the vacuum line near the inside exhaust tip.

Hey all, thank you for the love and interest on our system! We'd be happy to do a group buy; we'll have a thread up this week with all information. We're also releasing catted and HJS catalyst equipped downpipes as well if anyone is interested.

I just thought I would let you know that I've been working on getting this Forum a discount on the Supercup exhaust and they have just listed a HUGE discount here on the Forum for a limited time. This price can't be found anywhere on the internet including ebay or any other wholesale company. Here is the link. I just ordered mine today and can't wait to get it!!!

I need to hear a video of the exhaust with a set of catless downpipes...Straight pipes sound great without catless downpipes...with them it's obnoxiously loud...This is my setup with a cold start video
