Oil filter location on X5M?

Looking to do the first oil change on the truck. Going with the 5W30 weight either BMW or Castrol. Where is the oil filter located and how best to access (from top or under truck)?

its underneath beside the drain bolt. and you need to use a 86mm 16 flute filter wrench to open it up.

First oil change complete. Great engineering design/simple to change oil.
