Fabspeed Supercup Exhaust New Owner Review/ PICS ADDED

Well I had my Fabspeed Supercup installed yesterday and couldn't be happier. It looks soooo good with the staggered Hyper Black tips and sounds absolutely amazing. When your cruising it sound better than stock but isn't loud and obnoxious but when you get on the gas boy does it sound mean and aggressive like it should and fits the M's personality more. When downshifting you get a nice whap that sounds really cool too. I know some people on the forum haven't been a fan of losing the exhaust valves but IMO even before I changed out the stock exhaust there was such a small difference in the sound between M mode/ non M mode with the main difference being the performance so I have no regrets on swapping it out. I would have to say though that I was pleasantly surprised with the increase in power I feel from the Supercup. I know it isn't adding any more than 10-15 bhp but the backpressure is less and helps along with lighter weight. To me it feels like I'm in the M mode when I'm not and when I'm in M mode it feels like it pulls harder which is great and wasn't expecting that.

Looks good; I'm very tempted. Surprised that it doesn't give more of a power gain however. How do other systems compare in terms of performance?

I like the M badge and the X6 badge delete. Where did you get the black M badge?

I'm not sure about the power gain and isn't rated so I didn't want to over state a power increase so it could be more.

The people at Fabspeed were great to deal with and only took them 2 weeks to fabricate it. The system looks great with Fabspeed emblems embossed, very high quality and they did a really good job building it. Thanks again guys!

Nice exhaust!

Quick question, where did you get your tags mount (screws)?

The rear exhaust adds around 5-10 WHP, be wary of any company claiming huge gains. The factory system flows very well but does have excessive straight through muffling to neuter the sound. You would see better gains from aftermarket downpipes, we offer both HJS catted downpipes and catless downpipes. Pair the catless downpipes with a tune and it feels like a totally different car!

LOVE IT! Had it installed yesterday and I love it. I am only second guessing my color choice (polished rather than black tips). Sounds amazing. Video coming soon!

Im sure the polished looks good too cause they do a really good job with machining the tips. I just did black cause everything rise is black and have no chrome anywhere.

You are able to purchase the tips at a later date if you wanted!

Black cars are so tough to decide which tips would look best because you can always go with the "murdered out" look, which looks great or get the polished which really makes the rear end "pop" more.

can someone post a video of cold start with this exhaust and some cat less downpipes? Im curious to know how much quieter it would be compared to a meisterschaft gts and cat less down pipe setup.
