Dent

I brought my X5 to a touch less carwash (the ones where there are no brushes) at a gas station and as I was driving in, this metal pole tilts over and hits my car. I was I immediately drove out to examine the extend of the damage. The metal pole left a small dent, smaller than a dime, right about the rear passenger door where the metal is. It also left some paint but I was able to buff that out with microfiber and quick detailer. How hard would it be to pdr that area? How would they go about it? I don't want the headliner removed for this. I got the manager of the gas stations info down but I'm thinking I don't want to bother with them paying for it. It's such a small ding.

The whole event sounded and seemed like it caused more damage. But when I got to look, it wasn't that bad.

Why not let pdr look at the dent. They have to drill a small hole, if there is no existence one.

I feel for u man!!! My dogs wore playin around and banged into the side of mine on the lower part. I just ended up using a small $2 suction cup to pull it and it bounced right back with a little heat. No paint damage tho.

Just don't go to BMW, those clowns will tell you to get a new door lol

I had a dent about the size of a dim in my front driverside door of my old X5 35d, did it myself when the door got hit my a wind gust and hit right on the point of my Ferrari's side mirror.

Anyway we have a Panel company in this area called the Dent Doctor, they are a mobile panel repairer, they slid a special flat bladed leaver down inside the door while the window was down and massaged the dent out.

When they had finished you would never had known there was a door dent, no heat, buffing or painting, $165, took 30min. Had used this company about 10 years ago on another car and then it cost $65.

The price changes as the car in your driveway changes also
