Transmission malfunction
I got my second transmission malfunction my car is currently at the dealer getting fixed idk what there doing now I got the same thing last week I took it to the dealer so that they can check it out and they said that its a problem with the software and that they reprogrammed my whole software, anyone know the cause too this problem or has anyone gotten this problem too btw I drive a 2011 X5 M

What exaclty goes wrong, is it hard to shift, doesn't shift, knocks, makes a lot of noise.
It's hard to know if we have the same problem, when we don't know what's the problem...

For the clicking noise, not sure.
But for the jerky feeling, have you tried to reset the transmission ? Usually, could help. Dunno for the X5M, but for mine, you put the key in, fully press the accelerator and hold it there, press the start button without pressing the brake, and hold the accelerator for 30 seconds. Press the start button, then remove the key. Start the truck and go try it.
